Ashley earned a BS in Mechanical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering. She loves working with kids both inside and outside of the classroom as she tutored in high school as a member of the Math National Honor Society, as well as throughout college. She is available to tutor students in Algebra, Geometry, Algebra 2, Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1 & 2, Biology, Chemistry, Physics, SAT (Math & English) and general homework help.
Ben
Ben holds a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Computational Mathematics from Virginia Tech and brings over 50 hours of tutoring experience, along with a background as a math teaching assistant in both high school and college. Specializing in one-on-one, in-person tutoring, Ben is available to help students conquer tough homework assignments and coding projects across a wide range of subjects, including Algebra 1 & 2, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calculus, Calculus 1 & 2, Linear Algebra, Proofs, and introductory Java and Python. He is extremely passionate and well-educated in all time periods of history and can tutor history as well as SAT prep. Ben is available Sunday -Saturday, every day after 5:00 PM.
Chris
Chris, an Ashburn resident, earned a B.A. from Christendom College in 2009, and an M.A.T. in Secondary Education from Liberty University in 2011. He has experience teaching and tutoring students at the middle school and high school levels for the past ten years. Currently, he is a high school teacher for Loudoun County Public Schools, and tutors middle & high school students. He is available to tutor middle school science, math, English and history, as well as high school algebra I & II, geometry, English, and social studies. He is also available in-person to tutor in test prep for the PSAT and the SAT.
Angela
Angela taught 4th grade for Loudoun County Public Schools for six years. She has experience tutoring students in all subjects in third through fifth grade. She completed her B.S. in Elementary Education from Liberty University. Angela loves teaching and is passionate about helping each student reach their full potential, while enjoying the learning process. She is available to tutor elementary students in the areas of math, reading comprehension, science, history, and writing. She can also assist with homework assignments.
Isabella
Isabella received her Law Degree from the Universidad de la Sabana in Bogota and a Master of Law in Comparative Law form the University of Miami. She previously worked at Law firms in San Juan, Puerto Rico and in Washington, D.C. She has taught elementary and middle school children as a volunteer for the Diocese of Bogotá, Miami and Arlington for over thirty years, and is currently teaching Spanish at St. Timothy's Catholic School in Chantilly, VA. She is fluent in Spanish and English. She is available in-person to tutor elementary and middle school age students who require in-home homework assistance and math - Algebra.
Mary Beth
Mary Beth earned a B.S. in Paralegal Studies and an M.S. in Reading Education from Marywood University. She served as an elementary and middle school Reading Specialist for FCPS & Pocono Mountain School District, PA In addition, Mary Beth was a second grade teacher for the Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Arlington. She has been a private tutor for more than 30 years and serves as a swim instructor in Ashburn. In-person tutoring only.

Dave earned a B.A. from Norwich University, an M.S. in Reading Education, and post-graduate certification in Learning Disabilities from Marywood University. He was a Title 1 Remedial Reading Specialist for public schools in Pennsylvania and has served as a learning disabilities teacher for FCPS and the Arlington Diocese. In addition, he was a home-bound instructor for LCPS. Dave has been a private tutor since 1996, tutors full-time, and conducts homeschool evaluations & reading assessments.

Caity earned a BS in Education, double majoring in Linguistics and Communication Disorders, and a MS in Speech-Language Pathology. She enjoys working one-on-one with students as she tutored math during her middle school and high school years. In college, she pursued a computer science degree before realizing her true passion lay in working directly with people. Her career in speech-language pathology has given her experience to work with children and adults with a diverse range of learning abilities. She is available to tutor students in elementary and middle school math and reading, Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus, Computer Science, SAT (Math, Reading, and Writing), and homework assignments. As demonstrated by her broad interests and experiences, Caity hopes to share her love and interest for learning with her students. In-person for 20147 and virtual for all other locations.
Susan is a retired teacher with 18 years’ experience teaching Kindergarten through 3rd grade in both Loudoun and Fairfax Counties. She has a B.A. on Elementary Education and was certified to teach Pre-K through 5th grade. She tutored reading and math up through the 5th grade during those years."My tutoring method is to teach without screens unless it is an assignment given by the classroom teacher. I prefer to learn about the child's interests and use books at their reading level to build reading comprehension and writing skills." She is currently enrolled in a writing class and has already submitted a manuscript for publication. "I have 5 grandchildren I spend as much time with as possible immersing them in the great world of stories."
